Mini 50 celebrations huge success.

A wet weekend on the Causeway Coast couldn’t stop the Mini 50 celebrations from being a huge success. We have countless people to thank but first take a quick look at these stats!

320 registered minis @The JKC MINI Dash of the O’rish

320 Minis registered for our JKC Mini ‘Dash of the Orish’ event at Bushmills distillery. After filling our regular car park to the brim, we burst into the neighboring fields for our biggest Dash yet. The calvacade escorted the secret ingredients to safety, and everyone packed into The Dunluce Centre to celebrate the Mini’s 50 birthday party.

The Morelli Italian Ice Cream Job was MASSIVE.
The Dunluce centre in Portrush was home to a staggering 518 minis for one amazing day, each polished to perfection for judgement. Thousands flooded the static show, and many took the opportunity to visit our many traders. As crowds were stunned by Paul Swift and the Autotest guys, our Judges examined all the classes of cars just in time for the presentation ceremony.
Once the presentation was over, Portrush was brung to a standstill as all the Minis took part in the biggest cavalcade in the Mini clubs history.
The calvacade completed with Morelli’s Ice Cream for all.

CHECK BACK FOR VIDEOS AND A FLOOD OF PHOTOS VERY SOON.

Update 1 : One of the visitors, Chris Sharp, has kindly pointed us to his collection of photos from the static show on Sunday. Visit this collection of photos by clicking here
