14 cars made the journey to the Abingdon Museum, near Omagh. The museum hosts the largest private collection of German military memorabilia in Ireland if not the UK and an interesting collection of motoring memorabilia from the 50’s and 70’s.
Following an interesting and informative visit, refreshments included, we made our way to the Mellon Country Inn where the well prepared had their picnic in the bright sunshine while the affluent dined in style.
After the meal most cars dispersed although 6 returned to Coleraine and Castlerock in convoy via Donemanagh, Claudy and Loughermore.
